After the successful completion of a project for one of their sister sites in South Wales, we were contacted by Nottingham Derby Best Western to upgrade the fire safety system at the site.
The 100-bed hotel is spread over four floors and after reviewing the site as well as having in-depth conversations with the in-house team, an EMS Firecell was selected as the system of choice.
Installation of the fully wireless system began on April 8th 2024 and the project included the installation of:
Advanced MX5 4 Loop Fire Panel
We installed the main fire panel in the most central location of the hotel – the reception area – giving staff and emergency services quick and easy access to the panel.
Multiple Cluster Units
We fitted 12 separate cluster units throughout the hotel, all of which communicated with the main fire panel.
200+ Sensor Devices
We installed 235 units throughout the ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and Attic, ensuring full coverage of all rooms, as well as conference facilities, kitchens, admin centres and more.
The system was tested, then commissioned and fully active by the 18th of April 2024.
