We were delighted to play our part in the development of Sinclair Jaguar Land Rover’s new Swansea showroom in Riverside Business Park, Swansea Vale.
Working through the main electrical contractor, Havenkey, we assisted with the supply and commissioning of the Fire Safety System which covered the showroom, repair centre and offices at the five-acre site.
With the main construction activity beginning in October 2022, the fire safety element of the project began towards the end of the Summer of 2023 and we supplied Hevenkey with all the necessary fire alarm system equipment.
This included an Advanced MxPro Fire Panel finished in stainless steel as well as multiple Apollo Smoke Detectors, all of which were installed by Havenkey and then tested and commissioned by us in time for the opening (October 2023). We have since returned to the site to train the staff in the operation of the system and provide them with the necessary handbooks and manuals.
This is another successful collaboration between Plexus FS and Havenkey and follows on from key projects over the years including the Seren Dome and Blackpool Mill, both part of the Bluestone Resort in Pembrokeshire.
